
About Robert Hernandez
Robert Hernandez founded PCVI Consulting in December 2003 and brings more than 25 years of combined business experience spanning hotel and restaurant management, commercial and residential real estate brokerage and finance, acquisitions and development, and management consulting. He began his career advancing through the ranks of hotel management with major international hotel chains before transitioning into corporate-level finance and development.

Robert joined Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as a Senior Development Analyst during a period of rapid growth, supporting the company’s expansion from approximately 100 to more than 465 properties and participating in the underwriting of over $6.0 billion in proposed and closed transactions. This experience included the company’s transitions from a C-Corporation to a REIT (Patriot American) and back to a C-Corporation as Wyndham International. His combined operational and finance experience later led him to Moscow, Russia as CEO of the start-up Luxotel International.
After returning to the San Francisco Bay Area, Robert’s entrepreneurial focus matured through the founding of PCVI Consulting and PCVI Commercial. Through these ventures, he has financed, renovated, managed, and repositioned multiple commercial properties including multifamily, retail, and office properties in Oakland, Berkeley, and Rohnert Park, California. Born in Havana, Cuba and a native Spanish speaker, Robert brings firsthand international and cross-cultural experience from work across the United States, Caribbean, Mexico, Hong Kong, Russia, and the Bay Area. He is effective and comfortable contributing in environments ranging from local small businesses to corporate boardrooms.
